not cheap plastic, will take some force from the mounting screws. I drilled some holes to hold small probe attatchments, no cracking or signs of weakness as a result.

I ordered a few of these to help organize my test leads and jumpers, and I a pleased to say that it does the job quite well.
That said, I'd put out there that I was under the impression that these were metal as opposed to plastic. Though I can see where this could be an advantage as a metal version could potentially wear away the finish on leads over time.
That said, time will tell if these will be durable. Tough for the price, I am quite pleased with my purchase.

This thing is so simple, yet so elegant! I have this mounted on the wall next to my workbench for all my bench test leads, scope leads, and power cables. This is just perfect! They all hang there nicely and I can easily access what I want.
Thinking I might try one of these for my usb, serial, and other random specialty cables...
