same great quality as all the other items probemaster sells. I use a lot of banana plugs and have tried a lot of different brands... these are of the highest quality on the market

A few dollars more than Amazon/Ebay, but well worth it.
I purchased this probe set to do back-probing with my o-scope. I was tired of clipping my x10 probe onto the back probes and wanted something that would connect directly. These obviously need to be run as an x1, but they work perfectly. There are similar BNC to Banana probes on Amazon and Ebay for around $10-12 that I had purchased as well, and these are leagues ahead of them. The Probemaster version has better silicone wire, a nicer BNC connector, better (and retractable) banana plugs, and measures out at a lower impedance. The BNC connector is the "spring loaded" type you find on other high-quality probes and has very good strain relief. Similarly, the banana plugs are much higher quality than the Chinese probes I have. They are also retractable which is a life saver if your back probes (or whatever you are hooking this to) either aren't setup for shielded plugs or are out of spec. The wire on the banana end (the red and black) is the same super soft and flexible silicone wire used on the Probemaster test leads, which is excellent. The BNC side is (understandably) somewhat stiffer since it is a coax wire. It is a bit thicker than the coax on my standard Rigol probes, but is by no means overly stiff. All in all I am very satisfied with this probe set and don't feel that the additional (while still very reasonable) cost premium over "generic" versions is unjustified at all. I also love the PM doesn't charge a huge markup for longer lengths.
