8164 Cluster Tip

I didn't notice how careful one needed to be with the angle of needle probes when probing IC and SMD chip pins until I used these. If these fit they are superior since they are much less finicky about angle of approach and about steady hold. They won't slip even if you angle the probe around 90 degrees or even more on the contact point. These are 1mm diameter so they're for probing bigger things like SOIC or DIP so they aren't as important as the smaller 0.5mm version since slipping isn't as big an issue on larger things. They are definitely better than needle probes though if you want to probe header pins since they catch the corners even if you are off-angle or move the probe around. I think they could replace regular 2mm needle probes outright.
