9101 Starter Test Lead Set

I do HVAC and these are definitely my new favorite leads. I like them so much. I bought two more pairs along with plenty of alligator clips in different lengths. I've bought probably four or five different brands of test leads and these are definitely the best

I bought these as an upgrade from uTest Advanced Terminal Test Kit from AESwave. If I need test leads I always buy them from Probemaster if they have what I need. I aslo always get them 60" long instead of the standard 48". The little extra length makes a big diffrence. There leads always work well in the cold, better than the Fluke Premium leads.

It started with the shop's Fluke 1587 Insulation Multimeter. I just couldn't seem to get consistent low ohm readings of motor windings. I started measuring short circuit resistance in just the leads, and I'd get .5 ohms on a good day, and often .8 ohms. There had to be something better. I got the 9101 starter set and some Kaiweets probes as I read that the Probemaster gold is the best you can get on the bench, but the beryllium copper from the competitor lasts a lot longer in the field. Using those probes with the 9101 leads, I'm consistently measuring .1 ohms short circuit, and my motor measurements are much more easily consistent between phase pairs. It's a huge improvement when taking preventative maintenance readings. I should probably also mention that I got the starter set in 24 inches, and I stopped using these short leads with the high voltage.

Test leads and accessories I purchased are simply the best you can get! Without any doubt! A review of their products is not even necessary! I recommend these leads if you have a FLUKE multimeter & you want test leads that match or exceed the quality of the meter ! I just got a new FLUKE 116 & have consigned the new leads that came w/ it to a cramped little spot in the back of my kitchen drawer… where I won’t ever use them.

I always love when I get to order from Probemaster. I dont trust anyone else to have the same quality or options for my multimeter.

I have never seen such high quality in a test probe set.. I've gotten rid of all my other test leads....

These are an excellent fit for my Fluke 8012 that can't take shrouded probes. There is an obvious difference in quality between these and the cheaper probes I use with a couple of my other meters. Probably end up buying another pair of these or other Probemaster probes for my Simpson 260 that uses reverse banana jacks.

These leads are the best I have ever used. The materials are of high quality. Made in the USA is another plus. I would like to see a more ruggedized version for some of the environments I work in.
