9104 Electronic Deluxe Test Lead Kit

I spent about 30 minutes searching for a test lead kit on Amazon. Overwhelmed by craploads (crapleads?) of Chinese sets made of fake silicone, I was ready to abandon all hope and settle for whatever has the least amount of negative reviews. I took a break to entertain myself with some more EEVblog videos, and then it struck me. What would Dave buy? If there was ever a test lead kit Dave could call "sex on a stick", what would it be? A couple EEVblog videos later, I had the answer: Probe Master. I ordered the electronic lead kit, which arrived quickly. These are simply the best leads I've ever used. They scream quality from the 1st second you touch them, and the practicality of the assorted attachments is simply great. You get what you pay for, and then some. I'm in love with the Probe Master stuff and from now on this will be the go-to brand for all my lead/probe needs.

I run Probemaster leads on all my DMM (Fluke 87V and Brymen BM869s) and would not consider anything less. In my line of work I cannot afford for lead contact to fail or to get erroneous readings due to lead quality. Thanks crew for your excellent work, 2 thumbs up. You have a life long customer.

After many years of accumulating a random assortment test leads and attachments, I decided it was time to invest in some high quality, interchangeable gear. A Google search and numerous positive reviews quickly pointed me to Probemaster's 9100 series. Simply put, these are THE BEST test leads and accessories that I have owned in my 34 years as an electrical engineer. I ordered the 9101S leads with the straight retractable shrouds on both ends and they are fantastic! With the retractable shrouds, you can plug them into either shrouded or unshrouded (safety type) banana jacks. No more searching around for a lead with the correct plug type. This feature alone is worth the purchase price, not to mention the very flexible silicone insulation and the gold-plated ends. As for the accessories (probe tips, alligator clips, etc.), they are all top quality and gold-plated. The wide variety and interchangeability makes them very easy to adjust to whatever connection type or probing method is needed. And the gold plating means that they don't develop an oxide layer that can make for poor connections and erratic readings. As several others have mentioned, the probe tips are super sharp, which allows them to easily penetrate any oxide on the device under test. This means a good clean measurement every time. Lastly, the pricing is very fair given the excellent quality of these products. Two thumbs up!

If you use a DMM daily, or every couple days, this is the best money you can spend on it. It can't magically grant features but it can make the meter instantly - obviously - more accurate. Which is super valuable. Don't hesitate.

This is just a great test lead set that is versatile and very easy to swap out probes/clips. This is around my 8 or 9th set of leads I've purchased from Probe Master. Just got another set in the mail for a Simpson 260 series 7 with the reverse banana plugs. I won't use any other test leads now after being spoiled with your flexible no tangle wire and quality of components. Thumbs up all around!!!

The kit has most everything one would need for electronic testing. The components are very well made. There is very low resistance in the 48" leads in fact they have the same resistance the same as the leads 36" gold plated leads that came with the meter. There are a number of additional probes that can be added also. I just ordered the larger 1" Alligator clips. I intend to buy many of the probes available in the future. Thanks Probe master for the quality at a decent price.
