The 8152 Spring loaded test leads are used for high density SMD testing. The sharp probe tip is spring loaded to help keep the probe from slipping off the device under test.

To Replace Probe tip -Grip gold tip with small needle nose pliers
and pull straight out. (Be careful not to damage tip by squeezing to tight)
Insert new tip using needle nose pliers.

First Thoughts on The Spring Loaded Micro-Tip Leads
Quality is outstanding. The plastic has a nice feel and the leads are very flexible. The banana plug fit snugly into the jacks. Because the tip is small, sharp and spring loaded, the probe works great with SMD devices. Overall, I'm very happy with these probe leads and the companies service. And the best thing, Made in USA.

High quality silicone wires on retractable gold plating sharp pins make testing easier than the probes which I used before regularly. $15 US for shipping cost to Canada is a bit expensive.

I like the hardened spring loaded tips. The plating is good too. Silicone leads are tough and flexible. Great for the PCB troubleshooting and repair that I do.
