      Top quality, excellent value

Posted by Seth on 2018 Apr 23rd

I have been using multimeters for several decades, and have never had a set of leads that is better than these. Wire is very flexible, connectors and fittings are excellent. Cheaper than other US made leads but are at least as good. Highest recommendation.

      Outstanding

Posted by Jake on 2018 Apr 12th

I'm an absolute gear nut when it comes to my work tools and diagnostics equipment, I only want the best. I was dissatisfied with the standard fare "F brand" leads because, albeit the reliable quality, you could only buy 48" and the accessory options were pretty lackluster. Got a recommendation to try ProbeMaster and I can easily say I'll be buying test accessories from them from now on. First off, the quality is outstanding... high quality silicon, everything is gold plated, and small details like an insulating nub on the tip of retractable banana plugs to prevent contact when the sheath is extended... really set this stuff apart. Secondly, the customization is the best on the market. Wont go into that because you can see all of the options yourself. The fact you can screw them on is just another hallmark of how they take it to the next level. Specifically regarding the 8000-series probes, I love the flexible handles more than I thought I would... the pictures don't do it justice. Extremely ergonomic and allow measurements to be taken in tight dimensions. It also reduces strain on the lead, which is where I have seen most probe/leads wear and break down. The accessories are comprehensive and it's great to know I can get easily get replacements. I got the 36" length which I feel is perfect for having full arm's reach without a bunch of extra length to manage. Honestly I'm pretty meticulous about the functionality and design of the gear I use, and I can't think of anything that could be done better here.

      8000 series for a Fluke

Posted by Tom on 2018 Mar 17th

The 8000 Series leads fit nicely in my Fluke 101. I ordered them 60" long and I love the extra length.

8000 Series - Test Lead Kits

Posted by Greg on 2018 Mar 16th

Heard good things about Probemaster leads on various forums, so I bought some and I'm just sorry I haven't had these test leads all my life. They are excellent as is the build quality. Very satisfied customer.

      Very High Quality Test Leads

Posted by Whitham D. Reeve on 2018 Mar 6th

The threaded tips allow these test leads to be adapted to many accessories, and the most handy accessories are included. These are far better than friction fit accessories that are blind and fiddly. The rubber insulated leads are very flexible.

      Great Probes

Posted by Tom Sealy on 2018 Jan 23rd

Probe Master makes great probes! But that is not what makes them stand out. i ordered the wrong probe - male end rather than female end. I called their office and spoke with a lovely lady, named Cindy, who agreed to send me the correct probe in exchange for the probe sent to me. I live near Chicago and I received the probe from California the next day! I am very impressed with this company and will be ordering from them in the future..

      Fantastic quality

Posted by Jeff on 2017 Oct 13th

After wasting far too much time fighting with the cheap leads that came with my meter, I finally replaced them with a set from probe master. My only regret was not buying them sooner. Flexible high quality wire, plus needle sharp points have make for a great set of leads that are a joy to use.

Top shelf, the single malt of DMM probes.

Posted by Paul on 2017 Sep 21st

To quote Dave from eevblog, these are "sex on a stick." I couldn't say it better myself. Silky, needle sharp, great attachments, and at a good price. Plus, made in the good old USA. Highly recommended.

These probes can turn a cheap meter into an expensive one

Posted by Bruce Harkness on 2017 Jun 23rd

I spent my career as a Foreign Services Field Engineer servicing everything from mainframe computers to micros and all manner of peripheral equipment in some very remote locations around the world. I've had DMM and analog multi-meters all my professional life ranging from throwaway imports to good quality Sanyos, Lafayettes, Keiths, Simpsons, Flukes and others the names of which I've long forgotten. These have not been top-of-the-line models but since I traveled a lot my bosses took a dim view of giving me expensive stuff just to risk losing them in airline luggage so most have been adequate and not spectacular. My 30 year old Fluke 77 is one of the best and now that I've retired, I've just acquired a 50 year old Keith VTVM and a new ennoLogic eM860T for use in tube radio restorations. The one thing these meters have lacked in all the years I've used them is a good set of probes. Measuring low-range voltages, currents and resistances have been iffy at best due to contact resistance and poor quality lead wires but for break-fix repairs they've been adequate. I now want to do more design work and dig deeper into component troubleshooting but cannot spend money needlessly. These new Probemaster probes are just the thing to make my aging equipment work like new again and even improve the accuracy of the better ones to almost lab equipment levels. They won't make a cheap meter give 5 decimal points accuracy but I would like to get reliable accuracy out to the meters' maximum range, and these probes deliver that in spades. Properly calibrated good quality meters can give 3 decimal points accuracy easily assuming you don't lose it in the probes so the probes are always the weakest link in any meter's design. These new Probemaster probes with their gold-plated tips, comfortable grips and super flexible wires can deliver that lost accuracy for you. They can literally turn a cheap meter into an expensive one assuming the meter itself follows industry guidelines in their manufacturing practices, and most of those over $60 or so do. It's the probes they try to save money on, so replace those and you'll have a very fine instrument indeed.

      Probemaster ROCKS!

Posted by Gerald Jackson on 2017 Jun 6th

I love the flexibility and comfort of these probes. They are hands down the best built probes on the market and will always be my supplier.
