8000 Series Test Leads

The "SOFTIE™" by Probe Master lets you say "goodbye" to hand fatigue and finger calluses. A soft probe that bends 90 degrees or more. A probe that conforms to the shape of your hand.This soft flexible probe bends gently to reduce wear and breakage of the lead. Many combinations are possible with the optional "screw on" accessories. The 18 gauge meter leads, are made of top quality silicone.

I swear by Probemasters probes every since I purchased my first pair around this time last year for my Fluke 87V. Since then, I have come to know what good probes should do and feel like. I have acquired two bench meters with high resolution and low drift since that time for prototype work and have ordered Probemasters for them as well. The tips are exceptionally sharp for SMD work and the build quality truly stands out without question. I’ve yet to find probes that surpass them for the money or in some cases more expensive probes from other companies. Also the customer service is remarkable and reminds me of days past. Julie has been a great help with any questions or concerns I have had. Do yourself a favor and get a set. You’ll never waste time hunting for proper probes again.

Great leads so far

So far so good. I've been using these for a couple weeks now on a daily basis. They are much more stable than my previous leads. They have made troubleshooting go much faster.

Great Test Leads

These are the best test leads I've ever used. They're sharp, so easy to probe even the smallest components. The gold plating is well done and very conductive. The leads are smaller than typical, so if you've got big hands like me it might take a bit to get use to the feel. I like these probes so much that I've bought a pair for every meter I own.

I now have 4 sets of 8000 series test leads which I use for both modern and vintage gear. The quality of the probes is evident from the tips to the plugs, the quality materials and construction make them a pleasure to use. I have them with plain banana plugs, shielded banana plugs and both basic and deluxe models. The deluxe kits with the accessories make them the most versatile of all of my probes. Simply works of art, where form meets function! A+++++

Very pleased with the probes. Probably the nicest set of leads I own. Very comfortable, well made, and flexible. The retracting sheath on the banana plug is nice and allows me to use these on a couple of older multimeters. I will be ordering more.
