8000 Series - Test Leads Only

I inherited an old Simpson 379 Battery Tester, with damaged leads. I could not find a source for replacement leads ANYWHERE. I lucked out finding the leads here. They exceeded my expectations, both in quality and price. I am happy to say that the old meter is working, and enjoyed.

These may be the best multi-meter probes I have ever used and at $15 and change you just cant go wrong. I may buy another meter or two just so i can justify having another couple of sets of these sexy probes.

Love the spring-loaded safety banana plugs that fit both old and new meters.

They do break occasionally, so keep a few spares handy.

great quality leads great replacement for top end meters as well as low budget ones, you will notice the difference espicially in resistance readings, the size of them and shape was different and took a little to get used too but now i cant put them down, i only wish i had ordered the lead holder as you need it, also if ordering from outside usa make sure you get a couple of sets etc to make cost of shipping worth while as i paid almost twice the price of leads in the shipping costs, it would be great if probemaster could sort a better rate out or have option for standard mail, ie take longer but cheaper, but as like anything in this world you get what you pay for, and these leads and other products from probemaster are top of line so buy with confidence, thanks peter new zealand

I replaced the probes that came with my UNI-T UT139C meter with these. They are a vast improvement. Contact resistance readings are much more stable, pointed probes makes it easier to get into tight spaces. Leads are extremely flexible. Very nice!

I purchased two sets of the 8000 series probes. One set had the 90 degree plug in like Fluke series meters and the other set was a straight plug in. Both probe sets were of excellent quality exceeding Fluke. I especially liked the extra long silicon leads and the very sharp probe points. Shipping was fast and well packaged. A truly excellent American product.

Wow! These are wonderful leads. First off, the wires are nice silicone rubber that are nice and flexible and won't get burned by accidental touch of a soldering iron. Secondly, the gold plated tips provide very good contact and result in ohms readings being less than 0.02 ohms when shorted together - I never got that with the original OEM leads. The probe tips are also nice and sharp for getting good contact on PCBs and other points of contact. Highly recommended!

the silicone cables are the nicest around, the tips are realy sharp... i just love them... the only downsise is the high cost for shipping in europe, is double the cost of the leads... if you add the custom costs and VAT the cost is realy high, but hey i wanted them and order it...

These leads with recessed banana jacks for my Simpson 463 are impossible to find from anywhere other than OEM, with the exception of Probemaster. In my opinion, the Probmaster design is superior to the Simpson part at less than half the price. The probe tips come to a finer point, and they are threaded to accept OEM accessories. The silicone leads match OEM quality. VERY satisfied with my purchase.
