The "GOLD PROBE" has been designed specifically for use with Tektronix, Hewlett Packard and other high performance oscilloscopes. This new slim design along with a host of versatile accessories, allows you to reach the most difficult test point in today's highly complex circuitry. The gold plated Probe Tips, Sprung Hook, Ground Lead, Alligator Tip and other critical interconnect points within the Gold Probe, provide excellent contacts for probing low level analog signals and high speed digital data. Unlike most "off shore" commodity probes, Probe Master guarantees quality and continuing domestic support for our "Made in America" Gold Probe.

4900 Series Probes
I have a set of Probe master probes that I bought 20 years ago that have held up extremely well So when I recently purchased a new oscilloscope it just made sense to also purchase a fresh set of Probe Master probes to complement it, and to keep my current set as spares. One very nice feature of the switchable Probe Master oscilloscope probes is that the switch is low profile; which keeps me from accidentally switching to the incorrect setting. But the best feature of Probe Master probes is the availability of a wide range of adapters.

4900 Series Master Probe Kit 4900DK
I populated the kit with 2 4905-2RA 10X probes and a 4903-2 1X probe, with additional tip adapters kit. Initial testing with equalization box looked bad, but that turned out to be a problem in the oscilloscope, not the probe. I am overall pleased with the quality and value. I bought Probe Master scope probes in the past, which were failing, but the new probes seem to be better constructed. Theses probes will probably last longer than I will.

Ah, great being able to make up your onw kits
New 4ch scope with some cheap0 but adequate probes I'll never get spare parts for. They are switchable 10x or 1x. I'll use them for 1x if I ever need them. I have a couple of 1x PM probes from years ago, still going strong too. I wanted a pure 10x, no switches. So ordered up a 4 probe kit from PM, all 10x, non-switchable. With the bells and whistles. As per my other reviews, big fan of PM scope probes, being spec'ing them for my labs for over 30years. Well made, never threw one out, always have spare parts on hand. And economical to keep spares on hands. My own probes, in my home lab are PM, and I never dipped into the spares. And just added the custom Qty 4 of 10x probes for my new 4ch 200mz DSO.

Good probes
I wanted a probe that stays attached to the UUT and didn't fall off, especially with the high voltage in amplifiers. These worked much better than the probes that came with my scope, so yes I would recommend them.
